This week we started on group projects to design and create board games. My role in the group is the writer which means I am in charge of making a GDD, rulebook, advertisement, etc. This week I started by planning out what needed to be on the GDD on paper. I then showed that to our 2D artist so he could have a guide on what artwork I needed. While he worked on the art I reated the rulebook for the game and came up with an idea for how to get card ideas. Up until this point I haven't struggled with much. The hardest thing I've had to do is coordinating with our artists so I can get the art needed for what I'm making on time. The easiest thing I've done has atually been the writing. I found tht it was much harder trying to keep things like color and art style in line with what the others in my group are doing than write rules which I'm doing by myself. All in all I think my group made good progress this week and if everything goes well at the end of the 4 weeks we should have a omplete and fun game.
